Damage compare - Wave Bow :: Artimis Atma

I'm sure there's a tool out there that can help me figure this out, or the good members of this forum can answer.

I have a Wave Bow and a 3-book (Dex) Artemis Atma Bow with the following stats:

Artemis (i100): Dmg 41, Delay 3.28, Dex +37 Vit +35 Acc +37 SS +26

Wave: (i95): Dmg 42, Delay 2.8, Dex +34, Vit +39, Acc +27, Crit +39

Base damage of the Wave bow is higher but the new dex stat for the Artemis is +3 higher. The Wave bow has all that lovely Crit.

Which is the better choice for DPS on non-coil (I would go with Artemis for coil to get the extra Acc)?

Um, I've cleared Leviathan over a dozen times and have not seen a mirror drop. Clearly Tidal Bow would be better but that's not my original question. Which weapon is best now?

So that's an upgraded version of Atma eh? I'd still say Wave Bow. 1 WD > better than 3 DEX. On top of that, you have insane amount of Crit.

Keep in mind, Artemis Bow Atma, isn't really an i100 bow. It still has the same stats as the i90 Artemis Bow Zenith, plus the stats you get from books. For all intents and purposes it's really still just an i90 bow. You don't get the i100 base damage until you actually complete all 9 books.

He specifically said a 3 book Atma (all Dex).

He just wants to know what is better while he upgrades either or both, specifically for non-coil, so I assume that means he doesn't need the accuracy from either.

I'm no BRD expert, but I'd imagine 1 wpn damage and 39 crit beats 3 dex and 26 skill speed. Weapon damage isn't as good for bards as it is for other classes, but it isn't TERRIBLE either.

Wave is better. 3 dex doesn't beat 1 weapon damage.

Pretty sure it requires 6 dex to equal 1 weapon strength.

Wave bow is far better. Crit + weapon dmg = GG

Here's a quick reference:

Wave Bow > Artemis Bow Atma (Atma does not have true i100 stats, and 1 WD + 39 Crit > 3 Dex)
Artemis Bow Animus > Wave Bow (2 WD > 39 Crit)
Tidal Wave Bow > Artemis Bow Animus (WD is same, so Crit wins)

Keep in mind having your DoTs crit = Bloodletter reset which can make up or be more valuable than 1 (possibly 2) weapon damage.
