In the JP forum Yoshi-P commented on how he was thinking of reason why we would be fighting on mounts. Someone asked them specifically that they wanted to be an archer on a mount I believe. When I read this for some reason it "implied to me" (not confirmed just me) that if we did have mount fighting (i want chocobo fighting but he's set on mounts), it would be in content designed where everyone is on mounts, and not content where one person is a chocobo knight and another is a lnc or something like that, we'd all enter the instance and be on mounts and fight upon mounts. If they would develop new jobs for that who knows.
