A thought, they could make the chocobo take up a party member slot(like adventuring fellows did) then they would be balancing the class/job/extension or w/e against 2 party members instead of 1. Also could make gyshal greens/dried peppers have an effect on them during battle.

Did you even read my post? i said "or allow us to call our NPC from the storyline to help us in battle?" Which come from FFXI when they allow us to get a NPC i think that how they got the idea to give us a npc to do mission with.

or allow us to call our NPC from the storyline to help us in battle? i think that be a better idea then allowing a chocobo attack with limit attack and can't be set as healer lol.
