[dev1082] How about a mounted class?

I'm all for a class/job-specific mounted class such as Chocobo Knight. I really think it could work as a pet class that u can mount in battle. Plus, NOW would be the time to mention it to SE since they are at this very moment getting the new jobs realized.

I'm wondering if they will have the Magitek/Terra FF6 style mounts that Tanaka had in mind. That'd make for an awesome engineered mount. Hell, that could spawn an engineer class (steampunk style of course) too.

Anyway, back on topic... I think some ppl have also proposed chocobo jousting (pvp?) and chocobo raid battles/caravan protection quest scenarios. I mean, why else would they be wearing armor if not to ride INTO BATTLE with them!? And don't even get me started on how cool archery would be while mounted.
