    Things you may or may not have noticed in various dungeons

    Did you know...
    • ...in Halatali HM...
      • ...you can use the traps in the first section to inflict damage and the Vulnerability Up debuff on the trash?
      • ...that there is a Darklight Jewelry chest and two Basilisks in the area behind the party (where the second boss of normal mode was) at the start of section 3?
    • ...in Brayflox Longstop HM...
      • ...there is a Darklight jewelry chest on top of the tower in the second (i.e. goblin rescue) section?
    • ...in the Lost City of Amdapor...
      • ...the Gremlin's debuff can be removed by another party member using the /comfort emote on the afflicted?

    I believe the Cold Gaze Cone attack from Catoblepas in Halatali HM can be avoided by turning to face directly away from the boss, but I haven't confirmed this nor seen it confirmed. It's just a rumor to me, but it makes sense considering that a gaze shouldn't hurt if you aren't looking at it :P

    Personally haven't needed to try, but many of the new dungeon bosses have mechanics that work a bit like mechanics in the new coil. So it would make sense.

    Did not know the last one. Though I'm also not sure what the sad debuff even does. I wish there was a way to see all buff descriptions easier on the PS3/PS4.

    Nightmare works like many other debuffing attacks. No damage = no debuff. It's hard to keep everyone topped off though.

    ^ I believe Misery just generally lowers your stats. When I get it, my heals seem sipid, and my BLM friend says his spells seem weak...but thats only a guess.
    The /soothe does work, but for sure, if you are too far away, it doesn't. Its handy for me as a healer...but a bit wierd soothing myself.... oo-er

    ^^ The Cold Gaze....yeah, I try to turn away, and hide behind my pedastal also, but seems he still bums me....maybe a little less.....or maybe as I am target locked on tank, I'm still looking over my shoulder in the direction??......crikey, thats probably it! lol

    afaik, cold gaze still hits you until you're blind

    Misery reduces your determination (in practice, lower damage/heal) and increases the damages you take. Horrible as a tank on pull
