I was in possession of my Netherfall 1 Trial of the Braves Book.
With my Thyrus Atma equipped, I right-clicked G'jusana in Mor Dhona.
No menus or options opened and the following ocurred:

[19:13]G'jusana: ...Really? Well, I suppose the moldy old book was bound for the furnace any─errr...I mean, it breaks my heart to see a piece of history treated like so many pages of soiled parchment, but who am I to argue with a customer?
[19:13]G'jusana: There. It's done. That particular bit of history will never bother you again. I hope you're happy now.
[19:13]You throw away a book from the Trials of the Braves.
[19:13]The copy of the Book of Netherfall I crumbles into dust.

I did not choose to have the book disposed of, it was simply destroyed upon right-clicking the NPC.

Further information:

I have talked to this npc many times before while holding books, but never have they simply disposed of books or other items. This is the first and only time I had an item disposed of by simply right-clicking the npc.
The only difference between previous experience and the last is that I just finished farming 1,500 Tomestones of Mythology.
