Please Remove Death Voices in Town Ambiance

Anyone who actually plays with the sound on would probably notice that if you are in a city crowded with players, the ambiance gets louder. It's a nice touch... except every couple of minutes I can distinctly hear Miqot'es and Lalafells die. The laughing and cheering voices recycled from character voice set is completely fine, the recycled dieing voices are not.

That's what those sound effects are? I thought they were just generic stock audio files SE was using for that 'background ambiance' - I'm pretty sure I can hear at least one person in the background apparently carrying out a conversation in English, although what he's saying exactly is unintelligible, but it does at least sound like English.

But I do hear also from time to time a loud "hurrrk!" sound, that always puzzled me as to what exactly it was. Now, this mystery deepens - someone is murdering lalafells in the background! o.o

Pretty sure I sometimes hear a male voice say "Get out of here!" Perhaps he's punting Lalafells out of windows.

Glad I'm not the only one with that impression, lol. Not exactly surprising either when the starting outfit of female hyurs and miqote are skirts that're far too short (panties in full view from the back as you run). Heck, a woman in the FFXIV logo has her panties on full display for some reason, lol.


I honestly don't understand why the devs chose to have female characters displayed in such a way. Did they forget that women play MMOs too?

...Okay, I'll stop my little rant now lol.
