she's absolutely right when you use GCD abilities as this thread mentions. It's highly efficient for mostly oGCD abilities, in this case Fester, Bane, Spur, Rouse, Swift cast, Raging Strikes, etc. Like for the macros I pointed in my original post.

@who is the killer; bio 2 should always be first because it has the longest duration and Bio 1 last because it has the shortest. Raging Strikes is our best offensive cool down, hawk's eye is the only useless one

i'm just disagreeing with the whole blanket statement that only lazy people use macros and players who don't want to be "lazy" should never ever use macros. GCD abilities shouldn't be macro'd. I agree. I just think it's dumb to tell players that they should never ever use macros because that means they're lazy and won't ever be top of the dps. I use macros in certain situations. i'm usually near the top of the dps list.

I'll agree with you then. I find macroing together various buffs and oGCD abilities efficient enough when it saves me space on my bar. Before when I did my AoEs I did Ctrl + 4 for Bane, Ctrl + 5 for Aerial Slash. Now I simply just hit Ctrl + 4 because I'd always forget to hit Ctrl + 5. Only time this becomes an issue is when I'm in T6 and I hit my Obey hotkey to sick Garuda on the middle bulb and it cancels out Aerial Slash (Since I like to keep 2 Aetherflow before Tethers for Bane then Fester on that bulb)

Well I keep redoing my hot bars (PS3) like my summon pets is on bar 2 so in a fight when I summon pet. and then go back to fighting I'll forget to go back to bar1. I finally moved Sprint and put Raging Strikes there, do to bar 1 place is Run II. it's really tough when I Rez a party member.
I was typing from Mobile and was in a slight rush to do something irl that I didn't really get my point across very well

At the start of a fight I have my Egi on Steady. The second I see the tank land Tomahawk/Shield Lob, I hit my Obey key, start buffing up, then begin the fight. If you can find a way to set up your bars so you don't have to use GCD abilities in a macro, then you should be good to go. Having oGCD abilities in macros won't harm you, and always save Virus for key times, it's always a waste to use it when a big attack won't be happening.

Just follow this rule of thumb: If your macros require <wait.X> or /wait X, it's not fit for battle
