Bet you're just a barrel of laughs at parties.I can't stand it honestly. If there were restrictions in place to keep Bikini's and the like out of it I think I'd be okay with it. As it is I feel like I log into a virtual strip club every day.
Actually, a setting to hide all Glamours would be probably be best. If someone wants to run around in a bikini 24/7 they should be able to, but I shouldn't be forced to see it.

I believe the virtual strip club comes in patch 2.4 as an add on to the gold saucer. You know, to further corrupt your soul.I can't stand it honestly. The only big issue I have with the Glamour System is that pieces of armor that take up both Head slot/Body slot can only be glamoured for the body slot, leaving the head exposed and un-glamourable. The same thing with Leg + Feet slot armors. You can only glamour the Leg slot, leaving the feet bare looking.
Otherwise, I love it! I can run around in my bathing suit looking like a beefy stud, yet retain all my stats <3

Wish we could glamour some of the crafting/gathering specific clothes. That alchemist robe looks awesome, and I'd love to go fight titan with my miner AF or even levi with a fisher AF =P

Only if we can also use paladin AF as armorer, I guess.
I think it would be much better if SE just bring some new crafted gear that look similar enough to be useable, but not exactly the same.

I like the glamor system... it just pains me greatly that the tiny handful of glamor-specific recipes we got required items which are only gained in special events like treasure hunts or ventures. And that many of them are 3-star recipes. Seriously SE, if a level 30 weaver can craft a tunic which makes you stronger, more dextrous and keen-eyed then I think crafting a dress would be easy by comparison.
What I really want are more items intended purely for glamor which are designed for lower level crafters, so that people can enjoy their benefits without having to be a master at every craft. It needs to be more open to entice people to craft, or at the very least to make these glamor items more accessible to people. Save the nicest outfits for the 3-star recipes by all means, but I dearly want to see them put a bit more thought into the concept.
...and this is from a dedicated weaver who already has all her crafts at 50 and her master book.

SE please read this.

I think SE decide the recipe level after the look of the gear. The better it looks, the higher the needed recipe level. Or would you want to wear a dress that look like someone made it who just started to learn the craft (something made with hempen clothe)?I like the glamor system... it just pains me greatly that the tiny handful of glamor-specific recipes we got required items which are only gained in special events like treasure hunts or ventures. I agree with the comments about the tiered prisms. There should just be clear prisms (no grade) that you can use to make leatherworker prisms, weaver prisms, etc. Since the mats/price are the same for each grade, having the grades at all is pointless and frustrating. I'd like to be able to carry many prisms with me wherever I go, but I end up having to waste additional inventory slots in order to cover all the level ranges.
Also, it's silly that the system isn't compatible with gear that takes up more than one slot. For example, the Odin gear and the Reindeer suit can't really be used, which seems ridiculous since they're obviously vanity gear.
I think the glamour should be more option in what gear a person can wear, any job should be able to glamour any item as long it it not a jobs AF gear or having a whm walking around in tin can tank armor. Like Acolyte's Skirt or Foestriker's Skirt for example should be able to be glamour regardless whether it DoW or DoM or DoL.
