Wait, what? You mean your time is more important than the other 3/7 people in the instance? So much that you can waste their time by being side tracked with other things? This, and only really this, is the problem with DF. People who put their time and/or needs over everyone else.

People skip trash mobs because they're both unrewarding and just not fun to fight. If you enjoy wasting time fighting trash then just find three other people who share your interest in fighting things vastly weaker than your group as slowly as possible. Because most people just want to get through the crappy grind dungeons as quickly as possible so they can spend more time doing things they actually enjoy (The nerve of them, right?). Or, leave feedback on the forums asking for less crappy chore dungeons that need to be run over and over again week after week, which completely drains the fun out of them even further. I don't care how cool a dungeon is, it's not very awesome when doing it for the 100th time.

It's a chore. You don't wash your clothes one at a time by hand, I bet. You use a washer machine. Same concept here.

This makes no sense. Speed running is harder than just taking each pack one by one. You need a higher level party to do it. It's not about ease. It's about efficiency.

Again, it shouldn't be done in DF though.

Yes, because fighting trash mobs is so hard and challenging...

If anything, SRs are doing it the hard way, since pulling a massive group of trash means the trash actually has a chance of killing you. Not speed running it isn't just slower, it's easier.

In fact, because it's so easy to pull 1 by 1 and faceroll mobs, people speed run to have even the iny bit of challange they can...

Also I don't think you can say "it shouldn't be done in DF", anything can be done in DF, just like you can tell me to go to PF for doing SR I can tell you to go to PF for not doing it.

DF is free for all, if most of the party wishes to SR I think the other players would either like to learn it, ask not to SR and have the party agree to it, or leave... But it's wrong telling you can't SR on DF IMO.

It's already been said, but apparently it's worth saying again. Trash aren't a challenge. I farm with an i80+ group most of the time and it's boring going one pull at a time. IF I use DF or DR then I'll do a mostly normal run. Maybe two pulls at a time, but it depends on the group. I never SR in the DF/DR. PF/Static runs I'll SR the hell out of stuff because farming 1500 myth is boring hell.

Simply: no. That's directly against SE's words and intentions. In fact forcing someone to leave or kicking them because they don't want to speed run is considered abusive and is actually bannable. Check out SE's statements in the other Brayflox thread.

DF exists for one reason: to help lower level players through dungeons. In fact, kicking anyone who isn't being abusive themselves is considered a reportable offense. It doesn't matter how much they slow you down. DF was supposed to foster community. Clearly it's failing miserably at that, but that was the intention.
