Can't deal with Atma

Sorry SE,

I tried, I have put hours in and no Atma drop. I've even resorted to giving into conspiracy theories about the Japanese Standard Time grind (known as server time +1 to some), still nothing for hours.

I can't see the fun or use in doing fates endlessly, and the part that is most troubling is I'll be right back doing them when I get back to leveling my Bard and my Monk.

No one's holding a gun to my head to do this. Excluding the people who I inevitably have to party with who are going to start saying No Animus, No Soldiery Weap, No Allagan, No EX Levi Weap? Can't play with us, that's who's holding a gun to my head.

Let me go off on the Atma checklist:

Yes I have my Zenith equipped (plural actually as I get bored and switch to other classes with Zenith)

Yes I activated my Zodiac flag via the up in arms quest. (which was bizarre in of itself by the way)

I get gold/silver whatever, gold or silver never matters it doesn't drop.

Pls look @ this : I got my 1st 12 atmas in 3 days non stop (almost non sleep grind ) i was happy i done so fast .
Now i trying to get second weapon and i got 7 atmas (2 of them same lol , got 1 insta drop while was did fate for fun while runnin to burning wall lol) , but for this 7 i already grindin week+
again non stop (was in Southern Thanalan 10+ h burning fates and nothing)
This is totally lame rng , some dudes (like i was 1st days after update) get 4~5 per day , but some can't get even 1 per week (due weekend play ability only or other things T,T)
All i and other player can recommend now (before future possible nerfs) is Continue farm or try obtain Levi EX weapons and save ur time . Levi Ex route is best aviable atm , atmas i belive will be nerfed in future and books also so....

well thanks for correction if i am wrong but the few atmas i do have always been when i got Gold.
If it is true what you say then the rng is even worst then i imagined

Levi EX weapon is very easy to get...

The Levi EX fight might be easy, but it assumes the player has been past the other EX primals - I am currently stuck on Titan. It took me a month to pass hard mode Titan, and I espect EX Titan to be a similar trial. I cannot say whether or not Leviathan EX is easy or not. But I expect that for most players, it won't be easy to get to, and it won't be easy to farm.

As for the Atma grind, I'm only halfway there, but that's ok. It means that I don't have to worry too much about grinding myth yet.
