Let me get this straight... you tresspass in enemy territory and don't like it when they heavy-effect you to make you easier of a target? I think they should just add cannon batteries to the main entrances to the beastmen zones. I promise you will get heavied less frequently. Cannon/artillery batteries that fire when you're in range + organized beastmen parties. You touch one and they all attack. A Tank + 2 DPS + healer + enfeebler.

or just leave it the way it is and give us a item that removes heavy and if there is a item that removes heavy start buying it.

The problem is you get the same effect from heavy whether an enemy is 2 or 20 levels below you. The duration should scale with the level of the mob attacking you, or have less chance of sticking.

Really, I'd like it if SE actually reverted it to how it was in 1.0 where it wasn't actually a heavy effect on the player, but a debuff that affected the mount - it actually made your mount lamed, and hence if you dismounted, the player them-self was not affected by it. But the heavy effect isn't too much of an issue now - usually if I see something aggressive ahead of me I'll just jump off my chocobo and kill it preemptively.
that is what I do I get mad it hit me with heavy and I tear it a new one.

The Heavy effect is there for a reason. Say you were running on foot and someone throws a rubber ball at you, such as at your body (torso). Due to the pain, you are walking slower trying to wear off the pain, but as you keep on truckin', the pain goes away after a few minutes and you can walk away faster. That's essentially what this debuff is like. You get hit while running, and the pain (damage taken) causes you to move slower due to being hit. Obviously your immersion of the game, with not understanding this, is beyond me lol

They had a similar mechanic in WoW called daze that would affect you while on your mount. One of the most annoying skills in the game when you were just running through the open world. Eventually, they got rid of it after people complained about it as it served no purpose other than to delay you from what you were trying to actually accomplish. Look, the mobs can heavy you in this game and they aren't going to kill you. You might lose a quarter of your HP if at that, but it's not serving any other purpose but that of an annoyance. There is no reason at all for every mob to have this ability and, currently, it serves no actual purpose.

It should depend on your level imo. Don't forget that the story sends you through the entire World and when we were below 50 and for the 1st time in a new region, the Heavy effect could be indeed dangerous because you couldn't stand a fight against 4-5 Amalji for example with Heavy on your back. So it made sense to have it but that was once during levelling your 1st character. A long time ago so to say.

Nowadays, the only time I am in the open World is when I harvest, spirit bond or when I am doing beast tribe quests, I am annoyed from the Heavy effect and even the random aggroing enemies. They do not give EXP, do not provide GIL, do not drop anything interesting. It is just getting rid of them in order to continue what you really wanna do. Feels like a mixture of lawnmover and weedkiller lol.

I like how SE handles the enemies aggro. If you are on the mob's level, they will see you and aggro you. If you are far ahead of their level, they just leave you alone. I would like the system to recognize your Item level. If it is above a certain level, mobs just leave you alone unless you start attacking them. For special quests (carry pumpkin or other tribe quests), this behaviour could be reverted to give the specific quests a meaning.

TLDR: mobs leave my pimped out char alone and only attack me when I attack you

After 3 renewed Heavy, it should turn into permanent bind until hit by monsters. But if monsters hit you while you are bound, it will 100% bind renew effect.
You will then fear monsters, even low level one :3

Just don't get hit in the back while riding a mount. If you can't, dismount and fight.

    Hmm, no?
An enemy 20 level below you would not attack you before you attack him. You would need to dismount to do it. And you can't mount again until you lost the aggro.
