PS3/PS4 + future consoles save password feature (optional) as well as button password

It would be a very welcome feature if every time I went to login to the PS4 that it would remember me based off my PSN and auto sign me into XIV. This would be an optional feature for those who want to have more security.

The other option would be to set a password via the game pad buttons rather then typing one in. Again, just an option, and this would be a handy feature.

The problem with that is your essentially tethering SE's security to Sony's.

This is a bad thing.

As for button presses for a PW... now that's an interesting idea.

While I'd love to have it so that it would "save" my password like it does my ID (which is an actual option), I think it would have to require one time password to be active. Since even with a keyboard, it is a pain to type in both passwords (due to the tab key not doing anything)

While TAB doesn't work (as it did on PS3) it's not game's (or SE's) issue but instead the "functionality" (or better say lack of it) of PS4 built in web browser (which is what game launcher basically uses). However - you can still login into game using keyboard just fine - only use arrow up & down keys instead of TAB to move between password boxes

In regards of saving the password - considering I logon one max twice a day it's not THAT much of effort and time used so I'm not really that much bothered plus I dout SE will change their policy about this - it's quite common practice in MMO or any other sub based games anyway.
