How is Tonberry latency?

Hey guys, I'm planning on doing a world transfer in the future when I got enough money to pay for the fee. My main character, BRD, is in Gilgamesh. I got into Gilgamesh because my friend who played there first before me. I live in Vietnam.

The truth is I can't stand with the crazy latency in Gilgamesh. Like you get Sending with 300 and Receiving 2000, 3500~4000 in Titan Ex.

(I have been stucked with Titan Ex for 2 months because of delay in plumes. Hell, I even figured out my own strategy for this fight, while you can still avoid plumes, dealing crazy DPS, fight well and don't let everyone else in the team get angry (my FC ok with that) but people won't find that suitable or accept that (lol, I even show them that I survive until the end, after super bomb phase while they all laid down in the ground somewhere, but they still scolding at me (?)).

Please forgive my anger, it just it has stand like this too long. Anyway, I just want to know how is the situation of Tonberry.

I would think by default you should get better latency from Vietnam going to Japan opposed to Montreal.

As above. By default the routing is shorter.

But again, your ISP matters too. "Notorious" example would be Australia's ISPs - know to be laggy as hell even to JP servers.

as soon as someone put a PF. bard slot is taken. if they dont class specify. expect to run with multiple bards. (lol EX mog 3bards pt last night).

Those horrible Monday nights where you'd probably see 500+ people in Wineport and some people can't even teleport there due to system errors, no one can get into coil etc.

And I recall a handful of the Monday reset nights while people rush into coil, Odin appeared. Holy shit...

try using 3rd party program to reduce your latency...
but yeah tonberry works fine for me, since i am from Philippines.

i understand how you feel bout titan ex when i was still on NA servers. its still doable, but your margin for error should be almost 0%

Hi there! I'm from Gilgamesh too before and transfered to Tonberry. I live on the Philippines and have shared your frustration before on latenct. On titan Ex in Gilgamesh, I had to memorize titan's rotations so I could pre-dodge plumes before it actually hits to deal with latency. Moving yo tonberry, I can react on the spot and no need to pre-dodge so I can say moving to tonberry is a good decision as per my experience. I wish you luck!!
