Feedback on the Easter Event (Hatching Tide)

And they don't really feel like events then if all you do is a single fate and pretty much have everything from said event. It doesn't need to be anything world saving since it's an event, it'd just be nice if it was more than "Hey, go do this fate" and that's it

In short the FATEs should be inside of story quests. I'm ok with it.
Something like speaking with a NPC, then the NPC show you the location of a FATE and give you a special item that you need to wear to get the wanted drop from the FATE (to make sure that you speak first with the NPC for the story).
Or a NPC at the location of the FATE you need to speak first before you can join the FATE (see garlean invasion events 2012). Should work similar like the level-sync requirement.
Or a FATE that start at a specific time in a specific zone and then jump to another zone the moment it got finished in the current zone (see Atomos event 2012)

I disliked the whole event. I think it was a waste of time. Please, do not include seasonal events where I have to party to progress. I rank this as the worst event so far. This is worst than the summer event.

I liked all of the event. One of the best ones yet. My fav part was hunting down those spriggens. Once you knew there spawn points it was easy to run a check for them. It really brought back the idea of NM out in the wild. I wanted to get more of em than I did but I was able to get one gold egg. I got about 70k selling the items that were in the egg.

I really enjoyed this event. Teaming up with people to carry the eggs to destinations was fun and different and the prizes were also a lot more fun than usual with not knowing what your eggs contained, even if a lot of the goodies inside were very minor, it just made it more exciting. I want more events like this.

I really enjoyed running through the cities figuring out how to evade the spriggens up until the last quest, which destroyed the feeling of having fun with friends by having to invite a stranger into our group to make-up the fourth person. We ended up never finishing it.

Didn't deal with the overworld stuff at all but I liked the idea of it?

I liked the pairing up part a lot. It was easy to find others to do the quest with, and it added a bit of social to the event.

The spriggans on the other hand... It might have been me reading through the quest text too fast, but I never really got that I was supposed to look for spriggans (I knew fron others).

Sadly, I never even saw one.
I was working on various hunting logs and traveled all over the place, but not a spriggan in sight.

Maybe an actual egg hunt would be better? And not with respawning eggs (because they would get camped), but so that only you would be able to see them, just like the items you pick up for various quests.

Easy you say? I had a hard time trying to find people to do this. Even with party finder and my FC.

I tried as it came out. Took me a while to get it because of what was stated.

I do like to play with people, in actual events that is for progress not in events that takes away my precious play time that I devote mostly for progression because I can't afford to play 8+ hours a day.

As for the fate part I didn't do that wasn't sure what the point of the bronze silver and gold eggs were?

I got Glamor Prisms of various levels, various gathering type food ingredient items like hq/lq cooking eggs when you /use the eggs. Combine a number of the eggs to trade to the npc make a gold or use as bronze. I did not do the FATE or hidden monster parts, I got the egg rewards from doing the in town quests where you pair up with ppl and carry eggs to the baskets. I had all of the hats and rings from 1.0 so I wanted the chocobo barding and did the above quests for that. The gold vs bronze is related to the quality or quantity of the reward you get when you use the egg item.

Feedback: I met some really fun people who I'd love to play with again and I enjoyed the event a lot.
