Huh, then that makes absolutely no sense with the nature of the quest, but I won't complain since it resolves one of my issues. I could've sworn that the only way to turn the quest in was to have all of the eggs dropped off, then both players could turn it in.The people you party up with don't need to be on the same part of the quest as you. The other people won't be able to see the quest but it doesn't matter. As long as you can talk to the npc who tells you where to go find the eggs and bring your own egg back, then you have satisfied the quest. On Malboro we regularly have people standing outside the amphitheatre offering to party up with anyone who needs it. I've done the 4th part like 10 times now.
All you need to have the other person wear the required hat for the current mission to start it up. For the 4-man one, as long as all 4 hats are worn, the mission can start and complete even if only one person needs to run it. My only issue with the event was it was difficult to figure out which hats needed to be worn for each part of it. The mission information said requisite hat and you had to read the mission txt to figure out who two you needed and the 4-man you had to guess that it needed all 4 hats (when you could guy 5 from the vendor) since it didn't say at all.
Well, if it's a quest with specific requirements you ought to be reading the text. Heck, if memory serves, each Dreamer you talk to will outright say which hats you need. Three out of the four quests I had a partner who ran directly into the Spriggans and I had to explain to them that we're trying to keep the eggs away from them. Not to go on a rant, but I don't understand people's distaste for reading quest text. Often enough the time one spends messing up a quest because they didn't read something is longer than if they'd just read the text to begin with. All you need to have the other person wear the required hat for the current mission to start it up. Disliked. Did never find someone with the other hat. PFd for it but all who turned up did not know that they needed another hat so gave up on this quest...And the ones that did have another hat thought they could not do it with me because we did it from different cities and had different quests.
Learn, explore, and think for yourself. Make your choices, take actions, and let yourself be free.
I really enjoyed this event. Teaming up with people to carry the eggs to destinations was fun and different and the prizes were also a lot more fun than usual with not knowing what your eggs contained, even if a lot of the goodies inside were very minor, it just made it more exciting. I want more events like this.
Be positive!
