How to see incoming aoes?

I've gone to garuda hard now for about 3 times.

What seems to kill me always is the incoming slipstream that I fail to see.

I know garuda has faint vertical lines around her when it happens but unlike everyone else I seem to miss those.

Any tips on how to suck less?

Slipstream is a Spell Cast ability. If you look at your target bar, you can see she is casting Slipstream. Move behind her before it finishes casting to avoid it.

Look for the cast bar which is included in the target bar. Slipstream has a cast time of about 1-2 seconds so it's totally avoidable.

Focus Target her so you can always see what she is doing even when you are tanking an add. She also does it at set intervals that you will get used to over time.

ex. She does slip stream 10 seconds after adds pop before twisters, just about when you get her to her spot she'll start using slipstream followed by Suprana's slip stream. You run through them both to avoid Garuda's and then run back through them to avoid Suprana's.

Another time is during the big twister when you are in the middle of the field with Spiney she will do Slip stream right after the spiney gives the other tank 2 stacks. I run through slip stream and then voke the spiney.

Uhh thanks guys...

Tbh I've never heard of a mob cast bar. I play on ps4 does it appear next to it's hp or on the left in the list of mobs?
Anyway I guess if I see ANY bar counting down that must be it. I haven't disabled anything from the hud so it must be there.

It should appear in close proximity to the enemy's HP Bar.

Slipstream doesn't have a ground effect (not all AoEs do). The only way to tell its coming is to see her casting it. It's a cone, as you just strafe or run through/behind her and you'll dodge it.

She tenses up and gets a red hue, its not as obvious as lines on the ground but after killing her a 100 times its easy to see.

Saif get used to using Focus Target, most endgame fights you will need to have the focus target on a mob or your cotank.

all focus target does is give u a mobs target bar on your screen, has nothing to do with making u a sitting duck
you can see your current targets health/tp moves and your focus targets health/tp moves at the same time

talking about the same thing? its shift+f on the keyboard
