It's odd that SE put so much rng in everything except boss mechanics.
Like in monster hunter games you can have the best gear but you would still need to be cautious as the monster can surprisingly combo and kill you with something you normally would dodge/ block.
The monsters were predictable but to an extent where you couldn't just face roll and do a "dance" .
It's going to be rough in the later years of ff14arr as all the other players will have left and only the endgame raiders will be left where everyone knows everyone and all content that is not coil/ whatever is the highest / up to date primals will be forgotten.
I blame all these near 1 shot kill attacks that bosses do.
