    Sponsor a noob today!

Hello guys, I'm a bit of an MMO veteran now I guess (the usuals - WoW, GW1 and 2, Rift etc)
I'm new to FF14 though. Just starting to get the hang of it, as its quite different to the ones I've done so far in some respects, plus I've never MMO'd on a console before.

I'm on the Zodiark data centre, and I'm looking to join a social/levelling guild/clan/company or w/e we call them here

I'm taking my time, learning the ins and outs, and hopefully once I'm fully settled in I may start looking to tank again.

    Thanks guys!

If sending a PSN request - mention FF14 or it will likely be deleted.

    Welcome to Eorzea!

Unfortunately I'm on a different server, but a good place to look for a Free Company/linkshell (which is what player guilds are called in FFXIV) is in the section for your server (in your case, Zodiark) in the World forum, which can be found here: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/forums/1197-Zodiark as there are usually plenty of FCs/lses seeking new members there (just be aware that as you're a new player you're sadly limited to how many posts you can make on the forum at this time, but you can still view the forums and note down the names of any FCs/lses you're interested in, and make contact in game accordingly).

The most important thing though, is to have fun!

Also have a look on Lodestone under the Free Company section. There's a few filters (choose Zodiark as the world) to help narrow down your search. You'll have a rough idea of what they're looking for, and can contact them in-game. Good luck!

what level are you if your willing to change servers i will be more then happy to a) ask my ls or make one with you b) make or ask a free company with you or ask the one i joined if you can join.I am an MMO Vet like you not as many as you but i have done a lot of reading and a lot more of applying what i read look up Promyvion - Holla, well the short story is i spend 3 weeks working a plan out on paper of what would be the best thing to do with pictures and items needed jobs that would be good for what we were doing.

just explain that i am not new and a very helpful player.but ya i jumped right in to this new world after playing 111 for years and really the funny thing is playing 11 helped me to see really no big change when playing 14.But the only thing i need to get used to are the changes to macros.but from what i know i want to tell you take some time off the game for like an hour or 2 and learn the basic of macros trust me you will thank me later.
