I don't know if anyone has brought this up or not, but it makes sense to me that the 12 Zodiac sings will eventually represent 12 different jobs or classes that will be available in the game.
This was hinted at with a piece of concept artwork from a recent live letter:
From this we already know that Paladin or Gladiator will be the representation of the Lion or Leo. For consistency's sake, this would suggest that the other 11 Zodiac signs will also each be represented by a job or class. One would assume assume that Archer (or Sagittarius) will be represented by Bard or Archer. But what about the other 10?
So, what Zodiac sings do you think will represent the current available jobs or classes?
Did you notice any in game hints as to any classes or jobs relationship to a Zodiac sign?
Do you know anything about a specific Zodiac sign that ties into something about a class or job?
What is your speculation on what jobs will be introduced to represent the remaining Zodiac signs?
Water-bearer (Aquarius): Conjurer/White Mage? (fluid aura)
Fish (Pisces): __________
Ram (Aries): __________
Bull (Taurus): Marauder/Warrior? (myth helm has what appears to be bull horns, class/job plays like a charging bull)
Twins (Gemeni): Pugulist/Monk? (twin snakes, multiple forms representing multiple personalities) or Conjurer/White Mage? (cleric stance, two seperate forms representing twins)
Crab (Cancer): __________
Lion (Leo): Gladiator/Paladin (shown in concept art)
Maiden (Virgo): __________
Scales (Libra): Monk? (perfect balance)
Scorpion (Scorpio): __________
Archer (Sagittarius): Archer/Bard (obvious)
Goat (Capricorn): __________
Please discuss, and let's try to fill in the blanks!

I understand that it's frontline armor. But with the Zodiac signs already representing multiple aspects of the game, it is not unrealistic to make this speculation. I asked for contributions, not thoughtless, dismissive posts that contribute nothing to the topic. Please don't turn this into that kind of thread, please... I am really asking you nicely here.
Thank you for your contribution. It definitely pokes a hole in the theory, but it doesn't necessarily disprove it entirely, I don't think. This could have been done to throw us off the trail, as if the frontline armor for Warrior was in fact bull armor, then my theory would be TOO obvious for someone to not come up with.
There is a snake zodiac in Japanese culture. If anything, this just proves that they aren't working from just one specific zodiac chart and likely drawing from many cultures as they do with their naming conventions. Also, the Gazelle and at 2 different Bear (Sun Bear, Black Bear) zodiac signs exist in the Primal zodiac, thus not disproving anything.

This does take away from the idea of there being 12 that specifically go along with the zodiac signs related to the Atmas, but there could be a way to relate these 12 drawn from western culture to the others, so there may still be something for this theory to stand on. Perhaps with a little more research and finding the relations to other zodiacs being used it may offer more clues. Or it could mean nothing at all.
Thank you for giving me a reason to learn something new, I always welcome that sort of thing. This is actually quite fun.![]()
