2.25 in 9 days or less. Animus weapon owners, are you excited?

I did my part, many of us did. I got my Animus, many of us did. So our reward is that we have to wait for others now? That's a slap to the face.

Same. I'm having a hard time understanding what they want the relic to be... Is this an item all players get? If so, why make it such a grind? If not, why are they punishing the player base that has already put the work in to get it? I get the impression that they aren't too sure which it is either.

I understood it as "fewer than expected have progressed far enough" combined with the general complaints about the first stage.
Releasing the Novus stage without implementing feedback on current quests and taking into account that feedback for the next stage would have resulted in negativity that they don't want.

Even so, if the quest is finished, what reason do they have not to add it? They suggested in their list of excuses that they want to implement more ways to get the spheres, indicating that they already have some ways of getting them. Fine, give us the additional sources in 2.28 but why not give us the initial quest and sources, if they are already finished as they are suggesting, in 2.25? It should be up to us if we find it too time-consuming and want to wait another patch or not.

No, it's like saying they should not have released the Second Coil at all, even if they finished making it, because most people did not kill Twintania yet.

i have a feeling that the grinding spheres so far was gonna end up alot like grinding atmas as far as time-consumption an general boring grind goes, and they didnt want to have to hear all the crying like they have had to hear the past month an a half lol i also though, am wondering why the lame excuse for postponing, when the original announcment of the quest was stated that not many people would have completed it by 2.25 & 2.3 anyways, seems to me that, that was the plan all along for it to take a longtime for most people.

Pretty much this, i can understand the other reasons but having a reason for not many having animus is just idk because they knew that not many people would have animus by then so listing that as a reason is just not right. Its like they needed to think of a third reason to add to the list and they came on top. The only way i can see it is as that the next part would incorporate having to some sort of content requiring a party to do and they think the amount of people who have animus wont be enough for that part of the content so they postponed it but that's just me wishful thinking.

Come on, you guys only have to wait like another month or so to do more grinding after potentially doing hundreds of FATEs for the current 3rd, sometimes 4th best weapon for your class. It'll be okay. I'm not laughing at all.

I don't have all my Atma much less my Animus weapon and I am very surprised by this. They said first that it would take some time and now they sound surprised we don't all have the Animus within a month? O.o (Mind you, I was also very surprised that folks expected the next stage of the weapon quest already. I haven't even SEEN an Animus weapon on my server.) It's this flip flopping that is no good.

The proper set of events would be.

Second Coil of Bahamut is delayed until patch 2.25 because not enough Free Companies have completed Turn-5.
Feedback on the difficulty will be taken into consideration and ways to make Second Coil of Bahamut accessible will be looked into.
We ask that you wait just a little longer until everything is properly balanced.

Instead of what they did.

Second Coil of Bahamut is released in 2.2.
Echo buff released.
Myth and Soldiery gear now help balance out Turn 5 as well having access to better weapons through Animus and Leviathan.

If you're gonna do comparisons at least bother to do them properly.
