Using a keyboard with ps4

I have kinda the same problem ill explain...

When I first plugged keyboard in it worked beautifully however as time went on It started missing letters and eventually went completely.
Now it comes and goes.

On a side note the keyboard works fine on ps4 browser and my PC, I hope this is fixed soon

Besides it not recognizing letters, sometimes it will repeat letters so anything I type is unreadable. ><
