Idea: Easy way to manage items with multiple retainers

    Hi,

I have 2 ideas to improve retainers:

    1. When accessing the market-bell give us the option to search for items (like on the market). The search-result should tell you if you have the item, how many you have and if it is in your inventory or in the inventory of one of your retainers.

    2. Sometimes it happens to me that I have one item (e.g. a lanoscea orange) and have it split over mutiple retainers. That costs slots and you need time to get all of your items. Implement a new option in the dropdown menue called "merge items". If you right click an item and this options is available it tells yout that another retainer got the item, too. When you chose "merge" the item from the other retainer gets stacked on the slot of the retainer you are working with atm.

    What do you think?

I do hope they have plans for managing retainer inventory, especially considering you can have up to 4 now. I'm fairly certain (although unrelated) they plan on making it so split items in retainer inventory can get merged. If you split a stack, and then sort, it takes up 2 slots and does not merge. I had 1 retainer reserved for reagents and ingredients, and the other one held all the other craft materials. With 4, I was able to split them even further. I also keep a piece of gear in my inventory/retainer inventory, so the 1st page is always "clear" when I add new items. If they don't fall into a stack, I look into it (usually means I'm starting a new stack, or put wrong material on retainer).
