Not a massive problem but it seems to rain a hell of a lot or it's foggy or there's dust storms or its cloudy, can we have a bit more sunshine? I think that's when the game looks its best as well.

More natural transitions aswell and random, it's slightly annoying how weather changes by the clock hitting 08:00 16:00 00:00 etc. I guess this makes sense for an area like Mor Dhona because of its unique Dark Weather (great for knowing Dodore is up) but for the game in general weather should be a little more realistic - unpredictable!
The transition when you go from a city to the zone outside is also weird - let's have the local weather shown in cities as well as in the field. Of course it would be annoying if Ul'dah had the sandstorms that you get outside and your visibility was greatly reduced, but i believe that would be reasonably removed from the city's possible weather pattern as with the walls it would not be an issue like it is outside. No harm in seeing a bit of rain or something thoughUnless there's some invisible forcefield protecting the city from raindrops?
I love a lot of weather affects. The transition isn't too bad. Weather needs to affect cities too
i like weather effects too, but it's too many. same weather in the city would be cool too since it's night/day time the same as outside. it did snow at one time in the city. we should get snow during the winter months!!!
I just want it to rain less period, the rain drops your FPS noticably.
"I know not what brings men joy. Of what drives them to great deeds, of what legacies they hope to leave, I know less yet. But I do know this: The true hero of this tale was the man forgotten."
Really agree with this. The incessant rain in all zones is exhausting, depressing, and most of all an eyesore (only because we play in it 90% of the time). Enough if enough. This game is outstandingly beautiful when it's sunny, but I see that maybe once or twice a week.
Its a personal preference; "if you like it" or "don't like it", as for me I Like Rain and the Dark-clouds. Anyways this weather is said to be part of the coming "7th Umbral Era", op haven't you heard?. There is something big happening!. Also what mostly comes to mind when thinking about weather is the Cities being isolated from the rest of the world, look at these city rain?, "better weather" this is what's it's all about.

"It's The Journey that is important, The Destination is Not that important."
The way i see it, lots of weather and transition is definitely a great thing and makes it more realistic, however my prob with it is that as mentioned by others, the graphics goes really dull when it rains for eg. It just looks and feel much more crisp and beautiful when it's sunny.
Perhaps the graphics can be improved with non-sunny weather to make it look better and more crispy and attractive?
I cant help but feel the game gone really dull too when it rains, even though i like idea of it raining and rest of weather changes. Just needs to be polished up to look better.
I agree with OP, the weather is something that's been bothering me for awhile. When the game 1st came out I used to enjoy looking at the sunset/sunrise and stars at night.
Now with the event it's been rain/clouds 90% of the time.
Give us back the sun and stars at night!

I hate how it rains in gridania underneath the tunnel along the paths, and like underneath canopies at camps. Rain shouldnt be falling through that area. And then it does not rain in towns, i think it should~
neways just complete minute anal details. cool if they got attended to eventually or whatever.
