Hehe, neat. I like how open you guys are about the dev process, it's very refreshing to hear. How about, I had a sit-down meeting?
But seriously, Yoshi-P is a very cool director/producer in that, beyond meetings (which we do have a lot of), his door is always open to each and every member of the dev team. If something comes up, he encourages us to let him know, which is why when we saw this post about the credits, we decided to mention it (albeit while discussing other, more important issues like Miqo'te swimsuits).
Are you guys responsible for translating and delivering to the JPN dev team the input/feedback/ideas you guys gather from the English forums, too?

If it appears here in the Localization forum, it's usually one of us who takes your suggestions/fixes to the devs. Otherwise, we leave it to our fine friends in the Community & Service (C&S) department to gather and translate data from all the other forums, which they then present to the FFXIV team in regular reports.

If you made something, you're name should be on it.. goes both ways for Tanaka and Yoshi. But seriously, people wouldn't care if this was updated because their its not their crappy name in the credits. Its not like we're saying "tomorrow you should have this done" but if you work on a game, your name should be in its credits. Why even talk in a forum if you're just going to be an asshole in less than 10 words. At least be an asshole in more than 10 words.

I don't exaclty recall if the voice actors are credited, but if not, It would be a pleasant surprise to have their names on the credits as well, at the very least those with major roles (Yda, Thancred, Papalymo, etc)
Long post short: credits update is good as long as it's additive, not removing names of noncurrent staff.

couldnt have worded it betterSeriously? Someone comes up with an actual respectful comment towards the dev team working on the game right now and you rude ass trolls have to say something stupid? Something like that even though it may seem pointless in some peoples eyes might mean a lot to the dev team working hard for your selfish ass so you can have a better game to play.
Keep up the great work dev team! Don't let the trolls get you down. There are some decent players supporting you and we will make sure your names get put into the credits!!!

I'm glad to see someone noticed this. Kudos to you for sticking up for all those hard-working souls behind the face of Eorzea.

I agree that everyone should get the credit they derserve..Personally i would wait till the bulk of the patches came in so it shows the work not the incompletion Tanaka's crew left
Personally I would want to add my name to the credits after the game is totally back into shape [aka the polished PS launch]

/thumbs up: you agree wholeheartedly, lol, wtf.You make a good point, Issachar, and as it turns out, this was also one of Yoshi-P's concerns, and that is why he was reluctant to say that an updated credits screen would definitely be in the next patch. In essence, we've added the task to the long list we already have, and it will be implemented once higher-priority issues have been addressed. That said, this isn't something that will be shelved and forgotten. A lot of people are working hard and we'll make sure that they are properly represented.
