    SCoB T1 Summoner

Hello, I'm curious as to how Summoners deal with the Slugs during the last phase in SCoB T1.

After the slug eats all the honey, there's some sort of timer for you to kill it so you actually need to burst it ASAP. The timer is said to be like 10s, I was wondering how Summoners deal with this since before they finish casting all their 3 DOTs, it'll take somewhere around 8s (rounded-up) + Fester.

And probably only 3 ticks of Bio II, 2 Ticks of Miasma, and 1 Tick of Bio will only occur during that 10s timeframe.

So yeah, how are you guys dealing with it?

3 DOTs (dots will transfer to Super Slugs too so make sure you Contagion too) + Fester + Swift + Shadow Flare (Make sure you aim well tho, you want it to eat it all the time) + Ruin 2 spam then wait for Super Slug

When Super Slugs pop: Spur + xxx (another skill that increase pet dmg, can't remember) + Enkindle + Pet atk + Fester + Ruin 2 spam til death

If you guys can't kill Super Slug in time, its your PT suck, not you SMN alone, I don't believe there others DPS can out DPS rotation above I suggest in short 10 sec

It's not that we can't kill it, we actually get passed that turn already, but we didn't bring a Summoner that time. That's why I asked here on what to do during that phase since it's pretty much a burst phase.

But since you told me that the DOT will pass on, I don't see any problem anymore. Probably won't use Contagion, it's better off to use in the boss instead since you won't maximize the remaining seconds of the DOT.

    Anyway, thanks for the info.

Yeah the DOTs stay between slug and super slug, so just drop them before it changes. I'd save contagion for raging strikes dots on rafflesia after the slug is dead though.

Ye, thinking the same as well. It'll be a waste Contagion if the target should die too fast.

    Thanks for the input everyone!

Depending how your group does it, you can bane first set of dots with contagion on to slugs so they all convert at the same time, and you just LB2 all of them + boss, all other dps stays on the boss and don't bother with slugs, this is probably the easiest way to do it and have the highest DPS up time. If you're doing 1 super slug, i wouldnt even bother with slugs just stay on the boss since melee LB3 takes care of that. If you are doing burn.... well youre doing burn.

Do note that with higher gear my group doesnt have LB2 till the very very end, so better just do burn and melee LB the boss.
