    Dear SE: WHM Suggestions

    1. Fix the cure>cure2>cure3 combo system. It's just bad, and procs are always wasted.
    2. Fix gimped MP, no reason we need ballad and SCH doesn't. cure1 spam does not cut it.
    3. Give us something that crit will benefit from, like crit heals return xx% MP (see above) or leave a heal over time for xx% or a damage shield. Or even a instant-cast free stoneskin like firestarter.
    4. Increase cure2 potency so our HPS is on par with SCH, especially considering the MP drain it is on our already gimped MP pools.
    5. Give us another off-GCD ability to use inbetween regens, something we can react to damage faster and not stand around for 2.5 seconds doing nothing watching tank die.
    6. Fix bene. It sucks, plain and simple. I'd rather it put a damage shield than get wasted 99% of the time. Or reduce it to 50% with half cooldown.

    ***Incoming learn2play posts below. I play both classes and I find SCH can do the same job better 90% of the time. WHM has barely changed since 1.0, we've gotten a kick in the teeth while SCH get the spotlight.

    Some other ideas i couldn't fit in the original post:

    7. casting cure could give a stacking buff decreasing the cast time of the next cure2 by xx%, or (cure1 crits) which would give us the ability to react to damage faster.
    8. Take regen off GCD but add a short cooldown, as it is we can't keep regen up if tank is taking massive damage.
    9. Cure3... very situational. I think it should be a ground targetable ability, with a blue circle indicator so people know to stand in it. Or some way to choose targets it will hit, similar to Beacon of Light on WoW paladins.
    10. separate shroud of the saints into two abilities, a hate drop and a mp regen. gimping our MP to save for an opportune time to drop hate is just frustrating, or not having it up when you need it is equally as bad.
    11. PLEASE give us sacred prism back... or something to stoneskin everyone in one cast outside of combat to make pre-buffing less painful.
    12. Why is "Shell" missing from FFXIV? (Edit: besides lame proshell) it's been in every other final fantasy that I know of. Would be a good skill for WHM since SCH have bubbles and soil. Lots of good ways this could be implemented. Maybe a channeled ability that puts up a big bubble absorbing XX damage until it breaks, like we see in the FMV's? (or once casted, you're frozen in animation with it up until it breaks or you move and cancel it)
    13. Reraise ability only castable on self with really long cooldown to raise up once if you die? WHM get all the healing hate anyways... best class to put it on if it were to be implemented, IMO.

    Edit: I'm not asking for ALL of these changes as they all would be OP, but just some suggestions. And as for one of the below posters: I've played WHM through every endgame content up to T7 so I do have quite a lot of experience on it. Only recently have I started SCH though.

    Well if we were equal to schs why would ppl need schs then?
    The only thing that differentiates us from schs are:
    -we don't use pets
    -we have very limited damage mitigation buffs
    -our mp pool sucks
    -we can out dps them i believe.
    -etc
    * we wear white robes and have canes instead of grimoires.
    Soo you obviously play whm, but have you truly "played" a whm in every possible way?
    Also if we get a kick in the teeth then we spam holy back at them.

    Just some of my thoughts:
    1. maybe a tiny duration increase? future trait to increase proc? otherwise it isnt too bad
    2. Just up our base mp/mp per level (increase Peity)even a little will go a long ways.
    4. maybe a tiny buff in the potency all round. We dont get crit specials like SCH so i'd like my burst to be just a little bit more noticable. otherwise id suspect the cura 1/2/3 will be in later levels as well as curaga 1/2/3
    6. EVERYONE has been asking for this fix. come on SE.. at least make it Instant like it says then I can kinda live with bene fails...
    10. maybe... im 50/50 on this. mp regen will probably be RDM like normal (not like bard how they lose dps, real mp regen with no drawbacks but a cd). But I think its fine as is. Just do #2 and up WHM mp pools. Maybe up the Mp regen potency a little more? (unless you are waiting to add a new enhance trait when the lvl cap ups then yay)
    11. yes i want an aoe stoneskin. but to make it fair, it should be on a 30min-1hr cd or as suggested, only able to be used out of combat. (maybe a future trait?)
    12. it's not missing... its called the trait Proshell. Hence that when a CNJ/WHM cast protect the Icon looks different.
    13. maybe down the road.. currently would be too broken without drawbacks. like you have to revive with very low% hp and almost 0%mp to make it somewhat work. youll also get the usual resurrection debuff. Maybe another debuff to gimp heals by a small %.

    Everything else I think is fine atm. Just up the Mp pools and fix bene and I have no more problems. some of those changes would make scholar and white make less unique from each other..

    Though i disagree with a handfull of your views some i agree with i would like to see cure to get buffed to a 20% chance to be on par with firestarter.
    I really agree with are 6 cause well bene does suck lol, and 10 well if regen was off the GCD it would probably have a 15-30 second cool down making it harder to regen multiple targets. but could be nice.
    And well have you ever read the text on you protect >.> it has a built in shell. I would like to see a Reraise spell with a level cap increase would be nice.

    Also i love the art piece <3

    1) If you use Divine Seal every 60 second you can increase Heal potency for 15 second and your Cure heal almost like Cure II so you don't waste that much mana.
    2) Shroud of Saints give you 1600 mana in every 120 seconds so keep mind to use this skill.
    3) High critical rate help you to keep mana management well - your tank have 50% hp, one critical for 3200 hp and he is full, now you can put regen on him, doge attack and prepare for next heal well.
    4) Hight Spell Speed DON'T help you to mana management because you spam heals faster so mana will drop faster and if you don't control it well you can wash out form mana very quickly.
    5) Problem is when you die and someone res you and your Shroud of Saints is on long CD so event if you are alive - you are useless.
    6) Presence of Mind - have very very long CD and his LONG animation make this skill almost useless - in critical situations better is use Swift Cast and double Cure II than this skill.

    7) Benediction - Too long CD, too long animation - my tank will die twice before i cast this shitty spell. And that 300 second CD... SCH have 3 Lustrate every 60 seconds!

    My suggestions:
    1) Now we have permanent 5% chance to get free Cure II - we should have chance same like OUR critical rate - for players who prefer SS or Determination minimal chance is 5% but if i get almost 17% on my WHM I want have 17% to get free Cure II.
    2) Make Shroud of Saints skill only for reduce enmity and give WHM skill for only mana restoration because i use Shroud of Saints more for reduce enmity more than mana restoration because all regens make strong agro.
    3) Presence of Mind and Benediction should have faster animation and special mechanic - like "any use Cure, Cure II or Cure III reduce recast time by 2 second."
    4) After rise healer should have some mana to cure self and tank - 1000 should be fine.

    - in my proposition you can build WHM for Spell Speed and with one Cure you have 5% to free Cure II - faster skills faster chance to get this 5% and decrees time for Presence of Mind and Benediction - more SS than faster you make this skill usable.
    - second proposition is make WHM for Critical and make free Cure II more often and less use of Presence of Mind and Benediction because recast time for this skill will be increased than on SS build and your critical heals and free heals make great job with keep your party members helty.
