Community misconceptions in regards to Atma

I think there may be a hidden purpose of the whole atma grind. It is to hold us, the players, hostage, so we start suffering from stockholm syndrome in hope of making us feel attached to this game. Same as all those ff xi hostages that come to this forum saying that waiting whole day to get in a party to do absolutely anything was exciting, or camping hnms with a bot, against other bots, for claim to get the very low chance of getting rare item was the perfect design choice and they so much miss it.

Funny thing I noticed is many of the FFXI Purists are also the loudest complainers about the Atma Quest.
