Community misconceptions in regards to Atma

people who dont like something - They speak up
people who like something - don't speak up because they are pleased with what there is and don't feel the need to

As someone else stated, they're not vocal at all. How many threads do you see stating they like it? None or hardly any.

The largest group are indifferent and don't care either way. I'm one of them.

There is none, because they don't care. Simple as that.

Edit:
The only thing I hate about ATMAs is the fact that it's tied with boring FATEs. No creativity at all.

I would welcome any RNG as long as they're reasonable if they're not tied with FATEs.

The real problem is that putting atma into fate grinding seems like an afterthought, as if SE was going to implement atma and forgot til the night before launch so they threw it in real fast with low chances of success and just shrugged.

I would love a system that took time so the Animus isn't a ridiculously easy to get as the zeniths but fate grinding is such poor game design. They could have added a new form of endgame to get it, they could have put it in dungeons, they could have given them as rewards for certain leves/quests or a million other ways.

But they rely so much on fates and that is the biggest development flaw in ffxiv thus far.

100% agree on this. Heck, even the seasonal events are tied with FATEs. That's how creative SE is when it comes to things like this.
