Next we had Brayflox where apart from one armor drop.

Sorry but it's working as intended I believe since those 3 new dungeons each have 2 chests spread out through the dungeon that give guaranteed Darklight.

In Brayflox hardmode there's 2 chest that give guaranteed Darklight gear, 1 is after the 1st boss up the ramp and the 2nd right after the 2nd boss to the left. That seems to also be the case in Lost City and Halatali HM as well.

So what exactly is the issue you are bringing up since you end up having on average 2-4 Darklight drops per run.

No, there are indeed two chests in Brayflox that give Darklight EVERY time. I have never gotten something other than DL from those two chests. The one on the pillar structure after the first boss, and the one to the left after the second boss.

I've seen DL in the save chests in Brayflox but not always and rarely, the issue isn't even about side chests it's that bosses are regularly not dropping armor just vendor junk that sells less than killing a single mob would give thanks to the Mb being flooded with them

No, those two specific chests. NOT the ones from the bosses, are both DL, every time. Plus it's been rather 50/50 for me. Some days it's mostly gear, some mostly mats. And like others have said, unless you REALLY want the pieces for vanity, it's not a huge deal.

I hope you're not telling me that you're having issues taking 20 seconds to clear a pack of mobs to get to a chest that drops Darklight or having 1 person run up and click open those chests as they get back into the group.

If that's too much of a hassle just clear the dungeon multiple times and get ilvl 90 gear instead.

I hope you're not telling me that you're having issues taking 20 seconds to clear a pack of mobs to get to a chest that drops Darklight or Having 1 person run up and click open those chests as they get back into the group.

Arrogant? You seem to be adding attitude and tone to text. All I did was tell you that there's 2 chests per dungeon that are guaranteed Darklight drops. Yet all you care more about is gil issues.

The boss drop more than just gear since people had issue with bosses dropping nothing but gear in the previous level 50 dungeons and those pieces of gear becoming obsolete. With talks about crafters having benefits from those obsolete dungeons instead this model works for both.

If you don't want to spend the time of day to get those 2 pieces of chests in the 3 new dungeons. There's alternatives to helping yourself to better gear. Like farming myth.

I'm just trying to defend the few things I still like about this game before the community turns this game into something only saaay 80% of the players will like
I like playing this game and I don't want it to change so that everything is obtained more easily.

If your friend doesn't want to farm the dungeon for the loot tell him to just collect tomestones and buy better items if he prefers it that way
