PS4 ID Issue

Hello....

So here's the deal, I bought this game waaaaaay back when it very first came out (1.0) CE version. I played some of the ARR when it came out since I got the free legacy upgrade to ARR. I want to play my PC account on the PS4 when my back starts to hurt from the PC chair. So I buy the PS4 digital download, when I downloaded and installed it my (PSN-ID) is already input as my (Square-ID), well my PSN ID is not by any means my Square-ID. What a simple fix you might say? Well not if you cannot change the text in the Square-ID field at all!!!!


I have tried to delete the game and redownload it, I also deleted all the save files. There is nothing else to really try, but no matter what it will not let me put my Square-ID in, it auto fills the field with PSN ID and it will not let me change it!


I seem to not be the only one effected by this plague, what happen to quality control in this world? How did they miss a bug as simple as this? With it being the weekend I am now without playing it on the PS4 till I can ream SE a new one. It's bad enough they charge you another 39.99 just to play the game you already own on a different platform, but when you do it won't even work... but of course the part that takes your money works right....


I tried to call them at their number (310-846-0345) I was on hold for an hour and a half before I hung up because I had things to do and couldn't sit around any longer. I use to support SE but now I have a new rule (since it seems to be the new cool thing for companies to release broken and unfinished work) that once this happens, I no longer buy anything from them ever. SE is going to be a hard one to let go I've been playing their games since I was but a weee one


How could something so simple go so wrong?

I can't seem to find anything about it either nothing only other people having the same issue... not even a post from SE recognizing this as an issue

I am having the same issue. I played on the computer then tried the ps4 beta and it used an old SE id that is not linked to my PC id. So just like you I am stuck not being able to change the ID in the field. I hope this gets resolved soon keep me posted if you find any thing out

So it seems when this happens you have to go here

and fill out the form and get the Ticket Number number when your done call SE and have them change it you can only do this once so make it count...

Why you just can't type in your ID like you can on PC beats me I guess it's their way of only allowing you to log into one account only on the ps4 which is stupid considering I bought the game I should beable to log into what ever accounts I wan't to when I wan't to...
