It's as if because people can get by, they're ok with it. Obviously, the proper use of alt+r is not the point of the thread. OP is right, this is stupid and should be fixed.Yeah, I realize how Alt +R works, and it's a good way to make sure you are sending the message to the correct person. I've adapted to using it most of the time, but I still have to shift through the RMT spammers, checking to make sure that each individual message is going to the same person that my previous 6 messages went to. But why is the extra effort on my part even necessary? I have already indicated to the chat system that I do not want to communicate with a person, yet I continue to see their name several times per minute.
