/reply command needs improvement

Well at least you solved your own problem in your post about said problem, so there's that.

/r or /reply is bad, very bad, and I'd really hope that people who say they use it are joking about it because it's just that bad.

What I'm saying is that BOTH methods of replying to someone are bad. Why do we ALT+R to skip past RMT spammers in chat history, just to respond to a message from a friend we received 8 seconds earlier? Both /r and Alt+R should automatically filter out the people on our Blacklist. Both systems are user-side, so they should share information with each other.

If you're having a conversation with just one person, you can type "/tell FirstName LastName" and then hit enter and your chat will be fixed to sending them tells.

Although I feel like I'm not reading this thread right, but that should be an easy solution to your problem I think.

Maybe the OP made a mistake by putting this in general, however adding a player you have BLACKLISTED to your REPLY LIST is a BUG. There's literally no explainable reason a blacklisted character's tells should be updated your reply list. This should be put in the bug forum because that's what it is. Though you guys have wonderfully provided various work arounds they're more focused on that this is something that just should be fixed.

Wait, am I misunderstanding something here? Alt+R's first result is always the person who /T you last.

If you are having a conversation, unless RMT is spamming you mid-convo, you should only need to press Alt+R once.

I'd also like for an error message to be given to that person on my blacklist, so they know the /tell they tried to send to me was not delivered.

Would be useful to the people that you blacklist because they are harassing you. However, not really useful considering 90% of the tells people blacklist are from RMT and that's a bot program that doesn't care if you respond.
