    It is a bad game design if people have to run to the internet to get important core information about decisions in the game.
    A bad design choice in one area doesn't justify the same poor choice in another.

    The design of the game allows people to play every class type on one character.
    Different classes require different chocobo classes while leveling.
    People want to be able to experiment with the different classes to find the right fit for their playstyle.
    The most logical assumption a person could make based on the all-classes-one-character game design is that a balanced chocobo would be the optimum choice.
    The current setup only makes sense where you could own multiple chocobos or can have different chocobo specs depending on class.

    I agree, it would be nice to hear from a dev about this. I don't see why they couldn't just mail out a free reset by moogle mail or even add it to a veteran reward or something.

    When I started with my Choccobo I did read the warning that points you address can't be removed but nowhere was it stated that you can receive a barding only if you invest all points in one category. I like special items so after knowing you don't only have to have a Level 10 choccobo but it also has to be levelled in a certain way, I have regretted my decision. It was early in the Game where I had dozens of questions anyways and just stomped into some kind of things without knowing it all.

    I always find it funny how people can be against something like this or state "it is your fault, deal with it". A wild guess: those people have Choccobos Level 2 and never cared for it. Where is that attitude coming from "get it right the 1st time or suck it down"? You guys should be glad you are no Game designers. You would live broke under a bridge unless you design maybe a survival Game.

    This is an issue I really want addressed as well. as soon as ARR came out i put one point in each class assuming it would give me a little versatility, I had no idea to get the best in one tree you couldn't even invest even 1 point in another. then when they released the barding and no reset it was just a total slap in the face

    What are you talking about? The game gives you lots of information about how to HQ synths. There's the tutorial windows that explain the Progress, Quality, and Durability measures and how Quality impacts the type of result. Then others explain about conditions, etc. Then are are the tooltips on every single crafting skill that explain how that skill impacts those measures. All the player has to do is take all the info we've been given and put it together. Then we have an unlimited number of chances to try doing so.
