I don't see a thing telling crafters how to HQ syth either. Are you going to complain because you didn't HQ a syth even though it is possible?
Do you want SE to spell out for you how to HQ syth? P O T A T O
It is a bad game design if people have to run to the internet to get important core information about decisions in the game.
A bad design choice in one area doesn't justify the same poor choice in another.
The design of the game allows people to play every class type on one character.
Different classes require different chocobo classes while leveling.
People want to be able to experiment with the different classes to find the right fit for their playstyle.
The most logical assumption a person could make based on the all-classes-one-character game design is that a balanced chocobo would be the optimum choice.
The current setup only makes sense where you could own multiple chocobos or can have different chocobo specs depending on class.
Multiple chocobos are coming (with Chocobo raising)
Try it with a level 40 class ^^
But that doesn't indicate that you'll hit a limit at 10, so adding anything to another tree will prevent you from ever reaching the end of your main tree.
What are you talking about? The game gives you lots of information about how to HQ synths. There's the tutorial windows that explain the Progress, Quality, and Durability measures and how Quality impacts the type of result. Then others explain about conditions, etc. Then are are the tooltips on every single crafting skill that explain how that skill impacts those measures. All the player has to do is take all the info we've been given and put it together. Then we have an unlimited number of chances to try doing so.
