Can we stop with the glow effects already?

Or at least give an option to disable them or let us buy the non-glow version from the Calamity Salvager so I can vanity over it? I'm sick of every single upgraded weapon glowing, even the soldiery ones have it, it's the most gaudy and cheap way of showing "Herp derp this weapon is stronger". It just looks tacky on most weapons, exception being Bravura.

You should be forced, because it's not a quest like the i80 relic and as such can be repeated. Repeat as many times as you like, if you're into that sort of thing. The atma stage isn't even the grind part of the weapons, so if you want one just for vanity... work for it.

What's so bad about letting us have the option to turn it off? Seems like a much simpler solution to a simple problem.

You can. You just have to
1, buy the Relic weapon from the Calamity Salvage.
2, get 900 myths to upgrade it to Zenith.
3, farm Atmas.
