Hello,
We confirmed with the Battle team that there are currently no plans to allow summoners to call forth carbuncle.

I made a thread about this a few weeks ago http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...4-Egi-Glamours
To late they already stated that a while back. Although I do think we will get a wyvern mount at some point.
This below is something they said they would be looking into after 2.0

The first half of that post he stated if they was going to add a wyvern they would have to balance the job and would make the dragoon weaker alone unless it had its wyvern. When it was put forward to the player base a lot of people said they would rather not have Wyvern.

Back to Arcanist it is then!![]()
I agree I would like them to add something to the class system after 30 it is wasted (What was point it even leveling past 30). I dunno maybe offer a different direction strengthening the base job after 30 adding extra spells and abilities.
Take Conjurer give them white magic nukes and let them sign into dd slot or Thaumatage let them absorb hp from the mob and transfer the hp to other members and sign up as a healer. I know not possible/realistic suggestions would just like MORE from the system I think base classes are wasted.
