The Glamour system

This system is not what I personally thought of when i heard you will get to wear the gear you want. I thought that it would of been Like DC Universe were the character gets to mirror the gear on no matter the level and did not need a special item in order to do so. I think that the prism system should go away. It not fun have to find someone then have them meld it on to your gear. I think we should be allowed to put on the gear and mirrir it with out the use of items.

I was thinking it'd be kinda like WoW's system where you talk to an npc and for a small fee they give the appearance of the desired gear over your current gear, this system isn't terrible though, aside from needing a level 50 crafter class to make the prisms, and needing 4 different kinds for each specialization, lol. that part makes it a tad convoluted imo

I agree. The system is a little to convoluted and it makes it hard for some people like new players to customize their character. Wow and DC makes the process a simpler to customize your character. I think they need to revisit the glamour system and think of ways to make it were you can change the type of gear without all these unnecessary steps.

There shouldn't be five different grades per armor class for glamour in the first place. It's just wasteful at that point. If anything, simplify: have one item that allows your armor to look like any armor of your choice. If you want your WHM to look like he is wearing heavy armor then so be it. As for the idea that "It's not realistic that a WHM wears heavy armor," well, the whole premise of talking about realism in a game which isn't real in the first place is rather silly.

Keep in mind that there're people, roleplayers in particular that want to feel immersed in the game world. I don't see how it's silly.

Assign to different glamours on one piece of gear. I want my WHM and SCH to look different but they can't because they share the same gear at level 100
