Friend cannot join my server!

I have a friend who I just recruited to the game. However, he can't join my server. I've got way too many characters and way too much stuff to just up and make a new character on a new server. Is there any way for my friend to get on to my server?

That's probably because your server is currently restricted to new characters and character transfers, due to simply having too many people logged in on that server at that time. SE regularly updates the current status of server restrictions on the Lodestone (every six hours from what I understand), or else your friend will just have to be patient and eventually they should be able to get onto your server.

Just wait and keep checking. The restrictions fluctuate and change throughout the day depending on server load. If possible have your friend try at a off peak time when the least amount of people are playing on the server you are, usually early morning on a weekday.

yeah as the previous said they always update n announce charcter restrictions to all worlds :3 so just keep checking when u can :3
