Does dev give items for Easter like they did in ultimate online?

I played ultimate online way back in the day and they would place Easter eggs in people's packs for Easter and Xmas trees for Xmas. I just started playing yesterday and was wondering if they did the same in this game.

There are seasonal events, such as the Hatching Tide that's currently running, which reward season-themed items. But none of them (so far at least) involve free stuff just showing up in your mailbox/inventory/retainers.

can get random goodies in the eggs and the final part of the quest gives you a harness for your chocobo

I was going to say that all you need to do Is group with someone high enough level to complete these but I see you're only 13....I can't recall if you've unlocked going to other cities yet or not by then. If so, then you should be fine. The quest itself is only 15, the hats people need are locked to level but as long as someone in your group can wear the items, you can finish it. I did that with someone a few days ago. He was too low to complete it all alone but I got him through some of it.
