I played FF XI (my first FF game) because of the Chocobo riding, racing, and breeding that I used to watch my friend play all the time on FF VII. When I first got the beta for XIV, I immediately tracked down the stables, and when I saw them I was soooooo freakin' excited to see their new (XI inspired) models and all the possibilites they could hold for us to have fun with!!! For playing the game nearly everyday since launch, nearly 10 months or so of dreaming, and conversing, and typing up ideas for them.... THEY ARE FINALLY HERE!!!!!!!

I think of Chocobos SO much more than a mere "mount". They are an iconic, loveable character in the Final Fantasy series and not to mention I LOVE birds, which helps prove even more how much of a nut I am for them! XD I won't just appreciate the faster, safer travel, but the PURE enjoyment of controlling a Chocobo in FF XIV (my favorite version of the Chocobo thus far) around Coerthas and Limsa and everywhere else in the game while listening to the Chocobo Theme composed by Nobuo Uematsu for XIV! I've been cock(~atrice) teased by them in all the class quest cutscenes of them being mounted and ridden by the Knights of Ishgard and so much more too!! >___<;

This is just the beginning, and it's only gonna get better for us die hard Choco fans!!!!!!! KWEH~!!! ^O^ TY again to all the devs who finally made this thing happen!!
