Why not Have Echo Give Speed Buff?

Have yourself and an entire party downgrade to nothing but Darklight and do all 3 dungeons. You'll start seeing where the Hard part comes in. Because for a i70, it's most likely difficult. i90? Please, it's a walk through the park for us.

Honestly, I think the boon of the echo buff on titan is that you can get through the easy pre-heart phase very quickly and get to the "real" fight.

It wouldn't suck so bad if we didn't have to get through Titan to do the rest of the extremes that are apparently much more forgiving. None of us in our FC ever want to go back and do Titan EX ever again once we get the last few people through, which is kind of a very bad thing since most of the community is probably in the same boat now that the primal weapons aren't top tier anymore. Ifrit is a lot simpler to learn and is actually a lot of fun, it's bizarre.

Hopefully they get rid of him as a requirement for the stuff afterwards.

Instead to give a speed buff to the echo buff, why not a haste potion that give you a speed buff for 3 sec?

Why not just ask them to completely remove the Titan content for you to progress?

The community has made this game too easy and I'm getting kinda bored cause SE are nerfing all the challenging parts (Sure there's coil, but I don't like playing that serious)
Pharos Sirius for instance was the most fun dungeon I've played. Like the only 4man 50 dungeon I've wiped 3-4 times on the same boss.
Then they nerfed it.
And they made all the primals easier and now there isn't anything challenging for a casual player.

I can't wait til some game company releases a reallyy hard mmo, then I'll quit my job and play it forever

So if you haven't beat Titan EX for example, that makes you a bad player ?

I haven't beat it yet, it haven't been my priority as of now, but I have still tried a lot of times.

If I had only said that, you would assume I suck at dodging or something, but I can't actually remember the last time I was hit by any Aoe by Titan.... I play a DRG who can't use sprint and the fight is a walk in the park for the most parts.

So why haven't I beaten it ? Because this is a multiplayer game.... I have lost count on how many times I've been the only person alive together with the MT.

Sure the damage increase of Echo makes it much better since you get past heart stage much faster and with less casualties, but after that it's chaos most of the time and you wipe seconds later -_-

I'm not saying we should get a movement buff, I'm just pointing out that you can't just look down on everyone that can't make a group from his/hers FC or something.

The problem is that if you have 7 out of 8 elite players in your group, and one bad one. The one bad player could very well make it impossible to complete. Now if this was the case, you would just replace him and hope for someone that can at least dodge, but how often do you find 7 good players in Titan EX ? I never do at least....

I think they should just fill the pit around him with high allagan, animus relics and an endless amount of gil. Rather than make the fight easier, make it rewarding to get thrown off.

It's a pretty good idea but I can see people complaining that Titan keep screwing them by throwing them into Allagan gears they don't want, damn those RNG, I spent 30hours being thrown out into Bard equipments, it's all SE fault.

id say if they made a potion for a sprint like effect should at least be half of or at least the same duration as sprint! personally i think pots in this game are next to useless besides the occasional str/int potions for raid content

Why dont ppl who still cant beat titan with echo complain to SE to implement a trampoline enclosure around the arena that gets smaller with the arena. Practice it and learn to read the fight and it becomes routine, theres only so much they can do to make things easier without hanging titan up and asking 8 ppl to bust him like a pinata.

I would LOVE to practice Titan Ex, too bad that requires the other seven people to continue practicing with you, rather than leaving and giving up after a few tries. Titan is hard because it requires a lot of attempts even if your skilled at it. And the reason why Titan EX is so hard is because the weakest link is literally just one of eight individuals. And when that link breaks the fight is over.

It took me god knows how long to beat Titan Ex. Feels like hundred of attempts. And once I beat it I went on to Ifrit EX and beat it with the first group I tried it with.

As far as Titan goes, yea a movement boost would make more sense than a stat boost.

I miss the days when only the top players achieved the top level completions. It gave you something to strive for. Learning your class and the fight mechanics is so much more fun than a gearcheck fight. If the fight is already completable with current mechanics, why change it?
