Having bad lag issues

OK, so you can actually upgrade your PC, better than I thought, but its still gonna cost ya if you want good performance in FFXIV.

Consider purchasing these or equivalent parts and you'll be much better off:

CPU
GPU
PSU

Would cost ya about $460 w/ shipping...

If you don't know how to upgrade your PC though, do read up on it, though what you're doing won't be very difficult, but it don't take much to screw something up. Ask a friend if they know how and get their assistance...

Do not get the CPU that Khalus linked to.

According to the link you posted to your PC, it clearly states that your motherboard support CPUs with a max TDP of 95W, so the best one for you would be the Phenom II X4 945.

you know there really no need to go over the top and get that cpu and GPU right? i play this game on high with 3870 and 3core you know just saying lol.

Listen to who you want but there really no need to waste on a lot of money on a video card it's up too you. The more it cost the better your run FFXIV but ffxiv can be run on a 5770 or a 5800s without issue and cost less but it up to how much money you want to waste that cpu the person display is a black box version which mean is great for overclocking if you need too that

but i go what they display if you have the money for it just saying you don't have to go over the top to play the game on good setting.
