Having bad lag issues

I see PC kits and pre-built PCs fro $300-$700 often, and while they are certainly not the best PCs, they'd be much better than what you have now. Plenty capable of running XIV and a slew of other games/MMOs.

The only problem though, these PCs probably won't be easily upgradable and in a year or two, you would be in the same boat as you are now with the latest game not running as well as you'd like.

You already have Win7, and 3 HDD, and if you bought one of these kits which usually don't include such you'll be much better off. Most times the GPU is integrated or there's a cheap card added in, but you could always get a better one.

In all honesty, the best thing to do though would be to save up, or do extra jobs on the side for family, or sell things on eBay, and build yourself a custom PC for around $1200.
