Early Access? Yeah Totally BS!

So I pre-ordered the game on 4/11 from Square Enix, got my early access code. Thought i was golden...but NOPE! access ended 4/16 and now I cannot access the game without the product code thats on the box of the game....which is still in route to me (Live in Cali, package still tracked in INDIANA, and remember, i ordered this game on 4/11 in the AM). This is soo BS! Square aint got no prob taking my 53 bucks i paid for the game and they gonna make me wait another week or so to get my physical copy just so i can use the product code? SOOOO LAME! If i paid for the game, i should of received that code via my email.

The only code i got was the early access code only. So stupid. If i would of known this or it made clear to me when getting the early access code, i would of just waited. Spoke to a chat person as well, that was pointless. All they said was "no way around that part" Uh yeah there is, if you charged me for the full game, give me the damn full game access. Why not just charge me like 5 bucks or whatever the amount would be for the 5 days of access i had in the first place instead of charging me full price for the game PLUS shipping and Handling, and make me wait who knows how long to get the product code off the box of the game. SE you are freaking LAME when it comes to handling stuff like this. Great game, but HOLY CRAP you guys suck at coordinating releases.

Stuff like this reminds me why I stopped paying to play MMO's.

You ordered a Physical copy of the game, in those boxed versions the Code is located on the manual inside the box. It is not there fault shipping takes a while, you could have ordered the game at a gamestore instead and picked it up or you could have ordered the Digital Copy of the game, in which case you would have had the Code right away.

Though there used to be a grace period to cover shipping times when the game first got released on ps3 and pc.

So you're mad at the game company because you chose to have the game shipped to you? Go to a gamestop or something, lazy. You haven't obtained the game, there is no reason why you should be able to play it yet. This is how all other games work. Yes, there are ways for them to get you the code before the physical copy, but there is no obligation for them to.

Obviously OP has no ideal how shipping works for physical items cause the code comes with the game manual not in a email. Your fault for thinking could order on friday get it by monday with standard shipping.

Simple solution would be to just give the people who pre ordered the game some lee way. Like a week or so, that way when their game does come in they can register it.

All im saying is if i preordered it with the early access code, it should of came with the product code as well. If not, make the grace period active for at least 10 days or something b/c of the shipping process can take so long. And i didnt think i was gonna get the game by monday, i was hoping by yesterday.

Lazy? no obligation really? I already got charged for the game so yeah they are kinda obligated to give me the code. And like i said previously they should of extended the early access code to 10 days since the shipping process can take up tot 5-7 business days.

SE didn't screw anything up that one of the drawbacks of ordering off the internet is there shipping time, early access is that you can play early to the release date of the game not until you get your copy of the game, and PSN might not had pre-orders to XIV but could buy it off PSN the day it got released both regular and collector.
