What's the worst thing you have experienced while developing FFXIV?

Yoshida: Hmm, I would have to say when players get angry at me in the forums… Pointing out mistakes and lack of information is one thing. However, it gets to me (along with the rest of the team) when the players start bashing my personality ^^; Please don't be too hard on us!

Awe, that's sad to hear.

I know FFXIV has a lot of problems, but do we really have to be so rude to the guy who's trying to fix it? I think we should all be a little more grateful to Yoshida, considering all the long hours he puts in.

Say Bayohne, do you think you could pass on a message to Yoshida for me? Tell him I think his personality is awesome, and that his lighthearted, happy-go-lucky attitude really helps to bring a real sense of personality and humanity to the dev team and make it easier to deal with all the problems the game currently has, because I know he's trying his hardest, and that he shouldn't be discouraged by all the immature forum trolls who do nothing but criticize and belittle him when all he's trying to do is provide us with a fun game to play. Other players should be more appreciative of all the hard work he and everyone else at SE put in. Game development isn't easy, and I just want Yoshida to know that he is appreciated, at least by some of us.

Yoshida is a good guy, I feel bad for him he's got attached to a project in such a bad condition and such a bad name. Hope he gets to shine in the future on his own project.
