This game is gonna be fine.

go Yoshi!!

Thanks for the interview and translation! Even if the questions are mostly personal ones, it's nice just to have communication and to know they're working hard.
Yoshi-P is looking stylish as usual.![]()

I'm pretty sure Rukki is grateful there's no PM option yet.A lot of this stuff I honestly figured given how with FFXI they mentioned it took them (at the time) 3-6months to create a (set) of monsters, and that was with significantly less detail to work with.
When I echo that when they say things they take and they're not just sitting on their hands it's because things actually take time even for small stuff -- yeah changing dialogue and etc is quick, but in the grand scheme of things, this is why most MMO designers go for the "build off previous monster/model" approach.
Great interview, thanks a lot!!
So... what are they emphasizing?! I can't think of anything other than combat or transportation here.Yoshida: All I can say is that we are not emphasising jumping with the jump key as a means to cover vast distances on the map or an element that must be used during battle strategies... I suppose the jump you'd find in general MMOs has a simpler design.
Does the last sentence imply the jump has more complex design here?
Hopefully we'll know before 2012...!
i'm thinking it will be more like parry and evade moves? at points in time u can jump in the game, maybe in sertain landscapes or in battle. but i'm glad it's not jumping maniacs all day long. i personally hate that in mmo's.
Since Yoshida is a big EQ fan, I imagine it will be similar. Not used in battle strategy or to cross distances, but to get up simple ledges and such.

There's a guy on the second picture that looks pretty sad because he wasn't invited to the interview. Don't be so mean, at least tell us who he is.
