Is there anyway to voice chat through the PS4 with PC players?
I don't know of a way directly through the ps4 but if you have access to a laptop or a smart phone you can download voice chat software. I use Ventrilo or Mumble. There is also something called teamspeak I believe.
Yeah I used Vent when I play WoW but I dont have access to a PC/laptop atm. I will have to try and sort something through my phone I think my HS is compatable with me phone so should be ok
Good luck!
There is at least a Ventrillo app for iPhone/iPad which I have called Ventillode.
I believe there is a TeamSpeak3 app, not sure about Mumble or Raid call.
mumble also has a phone app
HeavensWard theme song lyrics:
-"We can [Stance]dance if we want to
We can leave your friends behind
Cause your friends don't [Stance]dance
And if they don't [Stance]dance
Well they're no friends of mine"
Several of my FC members play on PS3 and PS4 and we all use Teamspeak. I'm not totally clear on how they connect to the server though.
My FC uses a Mumble server. I just have Mumble running on my laptop while I play XIV on the PS4.
The real conundrum is how, should I wish to broadcast on the PS4, would I combine it with my Mumble voice chat, which is done on a separate device?
TOO MANY QUESTIONS.
That one reason why my FC prefers PC gamers , we use Skype, TS, and such. It is unfortunate that that cheap box you get locked down. If anyone is interested in a PC. I have a Parts Picker build.

You can use your LCD TV via HDMI, you can use a microphone that is professional grade like the Blue Yeti, and can even use a PS3 controller though I find keyboard alone to me effective. Not knocking PS4 but I prefer freedom of choice of network, software and hardware. That machine will handle it.
A little P.S this machine is a speed freak. No mechanical drive for one. With that it a bit limited on storage. You can of course add drives but if you miss that old cartage instant load time feel you are going to go SSD for the mere fact that SSD are basicly working on a similar concept. This will leave your PS4 in the dust on load times on FF14 or more if not all games.
For those who are on the fence here is a video from JayzTwoCents on how to build and happy gaming to those who do.
Oh one last tid bit, if you are looking to be a Youtuber, Open Boardcaster is free, Action is cheap. No hardware more needed to capture. So yes even Mr Happy runs on PC.
