[DEV 10??] Is it Possible to Add this to the Game!

I would like to know if their will be any updates to The Linkshell Crest System . To me it seems very bland and lack of pop, And to quote again If in "Final Fantasy XI" You had a lot more customization . Yes i know you did have alot of pearls that looked the same yes but there were many Linkshells who would use the color bars and make it a unique color for their members. There is one other thing i would Love to see "User Uploaded Image"
where "Final Fantasy XIV" community can upload their own style of crest and i do understand that its high risk with people miss using this option but here is how or would like to see done .

Lodstone Upload: Linkshell Leader would upload a Crest image of their liking , Then Mods or SE people assigned like "Game Masters" to allow usage of the crest .

Then the leader will have a message sent to him on "Final Fantasy XIV" That would say your Crest was approved and direct him/her to Linkshell NPC to Switch the Crest .

User Crest Customization: Where Linkshell Leaders will use a blank Crest and then open up Style UI where they can choose how it would look like , adding cuts and or 2 - 3 tone color scheme . making it easier to tell linkshells apart.

I would like to say i understand people will say maybe this would not matter or not
but the goal of this game with linkshell was for the crest be something like back in medevil times where you had your kingdoms with their own crest and colors ,Thats what i think Square Enix had in mind when they decided to go with this style of Linkshell

User uploaded linkshell crests would be great. It's definitely something I miss from playing other MMORPGs such as Ragnarok Online.

But to have each upload inspected by moderators would probably be too much trouble I think. A simpler method of moderation would be if players upload images which violate the ToS, other players can simply report them to a GM.

Well maybe you should read through that thread first since it's only 5 pages long before saying that. There are good examples by people in there like this one for your info.

In FFXI, we could choose our LS color by using sliders, rather than selecting from a list of pre-set color combinations. I think it would be absolutely awesome if FFXIV did the same thing.

I even used Photoshop to create a mockup image of what the color selection GUI could possibly look like:

Also, give them my apologies that all the text in the image is in English. I don't know Japanese (very well), so it might be kind of difficult for a Japanese person to understand what each part of the image means.

(Though if someone is willing to translate the text into Japanese for me, I could create another version of the image with Japanese text.)

No one is saying you can't make a new thread with duplicate post about it, everyone does that the search function on this forum isn't the best. Only reason I brought my comment up is because even though after someone offered the link for you to check which also has a reps response you just went to say.
