    Paladin BiS for 2.2?

Right now I've been looking for a BiS for 2.2 but can't seem to find it. Currently I think my accuracy is to high even for t9 so I'm looking for some input on what items I should be looking to farm. Here's my set currently. I understand my sword and shield are not BiS currently. My accuracy stat is 541 and my parry is 560. Any input is appreciated!

    Curtana Atma
    Holy Shield Atma
    Valor Coronet
    Weathered Noct Lorica
    Valor Gauntlets
    Allagan plate belt
    Valor Cuisses
    Valor Sollerets
    Allagan Choker of Fending
    Allagan Earrings of Fending
    Allagan Bracelets of Fending
    Hero's ring of Fending
    Weathered Noct Ring

there's no real BiS for tanks at all. all that matters:
    ilvl > acc > rest

The BiS for both PLD and Warrior is definitely full High Allagan Armor with the Ilv115 weapons.

Course, the Soldiery Ilv110 armor are a good alternative, however, you meet the accuracy cap with the High Allagan's, while the soldieries provide a boost on damage but nothing gamechanging. Basically Noct Set provides Critical/Determination over High Allagan's Accuracy.

Im not saying Noct is useless, however, you will definitely need meal effects from food such as HQ Finger Sandwich and HQ Popoto Pancakes to keep your accuracy in the capped parameters. If so, then Noct rivals High Allagan in viability.

The same can be said in High Allagan's case. If you wear a full set of High Allagan, you can afford to buy say, DET meals for a big boost in damage, trumping Noct's numbers.

Course, this is all theory, seeing as not even, say 10% (in my eyes, on my server) have gained High Allagan Gear nor Restored Soldiery.

My own take on theorycrafting hypothesis lol

This is exactly correct. Once you hit i110 you can start itemizing your sets with a Parry set, a VIT DPS set (det, crit) and finally a true OT DPS set with i110 STR accessories. Until you are i110, just keep upgrading your lowest piece.

Do we honestly need more of this thread?
Unless your clearing T9, Your not going to be touching BiS in any metaphorical way.

Hey, I'm seeing this BiS abbreviation all over the place lately, and I'm not seeing it spelled out anywhere. I get the general concept, but what does it actually mean? Best in Show?

    Best in Slot
In most cases it means: which parts give the most benefit for the hardest encounter
Only if something else is said too like BIS for XXX it means best gear for another encounter, because older ones don't need that much accuracy
